 S.B. 190. failed in commitee.

 H.B. 1882 lost 51 to 48 in the house.

Lets put a little "bite" in to the law!

Senator Vi Simpson of Bloomington, In. has introduced BILL No. 190. This bill "specifies that a dog owner may be held civilly liable if the owner's dog attacks someone, even if the attack occurs on the owner's property. Provides that a dog owner may be criminally liable for unreasonably failing to restrain the dog, even if the dog attack occurs on the owner's property."
*Taken from the digest of introduced bill.

We need to write, call and E-Mail our state Senators, and House members to add this new provision to the Indiana Code.

We will try again next year.
